The student perspective
If you have experienced team-based learning, you know what happens when students get talking, thinking and solving problems together.
In January 2027, educators from across Europe will gather in Genoa for the European Team-Based Learning Symposium. We want to hear from the people experiencing TBL firsthand: you.
Share a breakthrough, capture a team moment or explain what makes TBL different. Bring your experience to life in a short video.

How would you explain TBL to your friend, roommate or grandma? Make it clear and memorable in under three minutes.

Winning clips will be screened during plenary sessions for an audience of university leaders and international educators.

Conference attendees will vote live during the final showcase.

Submission guidelines
Clear audio, good lighting and your own perspective are all you need to get started.
Up to three minutes
Keep your video within the three-minute limit. A smartphone is enough—professional filming equipment is not required.
Your voice, your language
Record in your mother tongue or in English. Clarity and enthusiasm matter more than perfection.
Include a transcript when needed
If your video is not in English, please also submit a transcript of the video.
What the judges look for
Entries will be judged on clarity of the message, original storytelling and an authentic student perspective.

Choose a prompt and record your video, solo or with your TBL teammates.

Upload your video
Share it through Google Drive, WeTransfer or OneDrive, or upload it to YouTube as an unlisted video.
Step 03
Send us your link
Submit your video link through the short entry form, together with a transcript if your video is not in English.
